Mamie KNOHR was b. Jun 1880 in Wisconsin to parents David KNOHR (1850-1939) and Sarah VER DOUW (1854-1940) who were married 13 Mar 1879 in Oostburg, WI.? Mamie was one of three children born to this couple including, Mamie; Emma; and Charles KNOHR, all born between 1880 and 1893.

Anthony ¡°Tony¡± VER DOUW was b. 28 Nov 1875 in Sheboygan Co., WI to parents Jacob H. VERDOUW (1818-1882) and Maria or Mary Pieternella VANOUWERKERK or VAN OUWERKIRK (1833-1911).? Tony was one of 11 children born to this couple including, Peter; Sara; Mary; John; Samuel; ?Elizabeth; Susanna or Susan; Abraham or Abram J.; Eliza; Isaac; and Anthony VERDOUW all born between 1854 and 1877.? Tony married Sarah J. HOLLE (1877-1932) and he died 23 Jun 1945 in Sheboygan, WI and is buried in the Walvoord Cemetery in Holland, WI.

Sarah was one of 10 children born to this couple including, Minnie; Jacob P.; Fred L.; Julie; Annette ¡°Anna¡± or ¡°Annie¡± or ¡°Ann¡± Magdalene; Christian William; Jacob Peter; Daniel Abraham; and Henrietta ¡°Hattie¡± HOLLE all born between 1862 and 1884.? Their son Benjamin Frederick VERDOUW was b. 28 Oct 1893 in Spokeville, WI and he married Bertha Emma Fredericka FEDDE (1898-1982) on 25 May 1919 in Thunder Hawk, SD.? The couple had two children including Lawrence Jesse and Harry L. VERDOUW born in 1920 and 1921.? Benjamin died 12 Mar 1968 in Miles City, MT.

Hazel had one brother, Benjamin Frederick VER DOUW (1893-1968) and a sister, Baby Girl VERDOUW (b. 1910).? Hazel was married twice, first to Charles Clifford HARPENDING (1880-1955) who she married on 15 May 1914 in Corson Co., SD and divorced in 1933.? Her second marriage was to Hilton Dearborn EATON (1898-1969) who she married in Nevada in Aug 1937.? Hazel had four children with her first husband including, Ione M.; Lyle C.; Lisle; and Marjorie Mae HARPENDING, all born between 1915 and 1926.? Hazel died 8 Apr 1991 in Malheur Co., OR and is buried in the Masonic Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Reno, NV.

Susan VERDOUW was b. Jan 1864 to the same parents and married Johannes ¡°John¡± HOFFMAN (1865-1928) in 1890.? The couple had one son, Henry John HOFFMAN (1891-1962).? Susan died in 1950 and is buried in the Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.

Johannes ¡°John¡± HOFFMAN was b. 1865 in Milwaukee, WI to parents Hendrik HOFFMAN and Louisa HENK.? John was the only child born to this couple.? John married Susan VERDOUW on 1 Jan 1890 in Sheboygan, WI.? John died in 1928 and is buried in the Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.

Well this is an interesting e-mail. Pictures belonging to the Verdouw Family. I have Verdouws in my files who married Van den Ameele's and lived in The Netherlands and also some Verdouws who lived in Michigan.
In the attachment some info about Van den Ameele's who emigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1844. Any additional info, however litle, is most welcome.
