[^_ZBARC^_] Saturday July 22 water line repair, more members needed, update
Replacing the frozen break with PEX in my opinion is silly. If the entire building was plumbed in PEX that would be different. Regardless of the piping, the pump and pressure tank MUST BE DRAINED annually and flushed with antifreeze to keep from breaking the impellers or splitting the tank. Fix it cheap and MAINTAIN it. This is toilet water for flushing, not potable water. Sent from AT&T Yahoo Mail on Android

water line repair at club house, this Saturday
4
Hello ZBARC members, The club house water line needs to be repaired. The new toilet has been installed. One club member has offered to help with the repair this Saturday, July 22. More members will be needed for this project. Radio equipment and the desks at the operating position will need to be moved to create access to the the damaged water line. Several members will be needed for the process. Once the equipment and desks are moved out of the way, the replacement of the PVC pipe will be possible. Mark KC0BRC will not be available this Saturday. I may not be available. Please use this groups io message to respond if you are available to help this Saturday and what time you would be available this Saturday. Also please use this groups io message to coordinate your efforts amongst yourselves and the timing of your water line repair project. As the lame duck club secretary I am posting the project information but I am not coordinating the project. Thanks and 73, Al KA0VIA

Hamfest
Everyone, The club members are asked to please bring a pie or cake to the hamfest on Sunday to sell at the food stand. It has been a long tradition that this is done this way. It should have been brought up at the last meeting, but it was missed. Craig had mentioned it to me last night or I would probably not have remembered it myself. Thanks & 73, Bruce N0XNH

[^_ZBARC^_] [ZBARC] Who has the Field day log from Saturday afternoon?
No. I did not. Like I said, the last thing I am is an HF operator, much less a contester. Sent from AT&T Yahoo Mail on Android

Did you exchange class and section with them? If you did, then we can count them as contacts for field day. Craig

[^_ZBARC^_] Who has the Field day log from Saturday afternoon?
Craig, as you know, I do NOT consider myself an HF operator by any stretch of the imagination. However, after everyone left and before I went home, I got on 80 meters (I figured I couldn't screw things up too badly there) and talked to two guys, one in Chesterfield, and the other in Steelville. Not really field day contacts. Just a very short BS session. Funny. I did the same thing a couple years ago after Marty went to Pacific, and the two guys I talked to were in Potosi and Arkansas and knew Paul Barber AA0GB. So did these guys. My second unsupervised HF contact, and everyone seems to know Paul. Ron N0YCX Sent from AT&T Yahoo Mail on Android
