Locked Rendezvous at Indian Prairie

The planning committee had there final meeting on Monday, October 2nd. The dates for this are from Friday, October 13th to Sunday morning October 15th. We will have a community fire on Friday and Saturday nights. Everyone is welcome to come out from Friday evening and stay till Sunday morning or if you just have a few hours to spend we would still love to see you come out and play radio with us. The better the turn-out the more fun it will be. We decided to only do 1 group meal and that will be Saturday's dinner. Pulled pork will be provided and Everyone will be asked to bring a side dish to pass. After the club meeting on Wednesday I will send out a side dish email. For planning purposes I am asking for a head count from all those that plan to be there for the Saturday meal.
If you plan on camping. You are responsible for your own water, and electric. There are no hook ups at the school. There will be a porta pot there for those that chose to pitch a tent. You are also going to be responsible for your own refreshments, snacks, and meals on Friday, Saturday morning and Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast.
? As soon as I receive the flyer I will post that to everyone.? For now please respond with the number of people in your party that plan to attend the Saturday dinner.?

KD0ZEA Packet/Winlink is off-air #winlink

All, the KD0ZEA Packet/Winlink is off-air due to a malfunction with the signalink that put the radio in full? transmit mode.? The radio and signalink are now toast.? Luckily we have a couple of spare radios on the shelf and expect to get the station back up and running tomorrow.? We are replacing the signalink with a Digirig.? I happened to have an alinco Digirig and cable on hand and testing of configurations are complete.

Thanks for your patience.

Re: September meeting

The items that remain need to be gone by noon tomorrow or it will be removed for you. Yes I told you the boat anchor 1980s tv was not needed at the school. There is a flat screen TV there that will work in time of a emergency.
?I did not make the decision to condemn your junk batteries. We hooked them up to a computer and load tester and the ones that passed we recharged and placed under the radio table. It was discussed with the other Board members and officers and the club does not want your wore out automotive batteries. If its that important to you to have these batteries on hand for people to use then take them to your house and hook them up to all the chargers you can find. Then they will be right there easy for you to maintain.?
You might not like the vision I have for what this club can do. And that leaves you with 2 options.?

Option 1, You can be my Nancy Pelosi and have me impeached.?

Option 2, You can quit the club and never come back.
? I think when the club hears what I have in mind most if not all (except you) will like what I have to say.?
