The Capitol Connection Z Meet

Ztrack Magazine Ltd. is excited to announce the ‘Capitol Connection’ Z scale
meet. This exciting one day only event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 5th at 444 Swann Ave. Unit F, Alexandria, Virginia. Cosponsor for this exciting event are AZL, Marklin and Micro-Trains. The meet will be taking place in the home of Rob Allbritton’s Swiss Gotthard Modules. Over 4,000 square feet of space houses the world’s largest Z scale layout. This masterfully designed, constructed and operating layout is a must see for any Z scale enthusiast! Attendees will have a good opportunity to explore and get to know this layout on a more personal level. A multi media presentation including scenes from the actual Gotthard Line are planned. The day will include clinics and seminars. Four sessions are planned throughout the day. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited. Only 50 slots are available and they are filling up quickly. If I didn't have so much work, I would have considered taking the plane for this. Certainly looks very promising. Unfortunately I'm at that time in the middle of getting big money out of a large European IT tender (in total there's 740 million Euro) for one of my research projects. Forget the trains for now. The most important thing is to get the contract so you will be able to afford the trains later. 740 million Euros is not an insignificant amount.
