You are the one who caused me to sign off my messages with Bill, El
Toro, CA. I needed to differentiate my irrelevant messages from yours
and the many other Bills who are into model railroading.
May I wish you a truly Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We all miss your posts and we wait for you to return with all the
gusto and energy that you have been giving to the ZBend group for all
these many years.
During the past few weeks we, the ZoCal group, have been working
furiously to complete a set of modules for the January 2007 train show
in Anaheim. With Lajos Thek's help we are able to show the ingenuity
of your basic design. A base structure for building what ever you
wish but still be a part of a greater modular structure. (I bet that
you never envisioned sausage shaped end modules. Lajos has a great
sense of humor)
May the new year bring you actively back into our world of running
trains much to the amazement of a large contingent of people who do
not yet realize that Z scale will soon dominate their lives.
I personally want to thank you for creating something that lets me
enjoy watching the little kids, 5 and under, who come running up with
wide eyed wonder at the little trains.
Looking forward to meeting you at the 2008 National Train Show in
Anaheim. By then we will have Lajo's other modules completed. All we
need are a few more new members in our ZoCal Zbend group.
