The Trouble Begins (Katya and Ashton)

Ashton honestly was pissed at the revelation, he wasn¡¯t surprised but he was angered that he didn¡¯t know this operation was his woman¡¯s.? The fact that her business was legitimate and being used illegally.? He was sent there to get him out of the way.? He knew now!? But that meant there were some other players in this game that needed to be dealt with and he needed to get to a particular place before that train went cold also.

¡°So you going to tell me about your business my love?¡±? He asked as he cut through the streets as he knew he needed to get to Zsa Zsa before someone else did.? Now that Arrow was down she wouldn¡¯t be far behind unless he got to her first.? He knew of the most likely safe house that the two of them would use.? His head set helped him to identify police in the area so his speed wouldn¡¯t be compromised.

So there were some secrets between them, but was it secrets because of withholding information or did she just not want him to know.? Maybe he failed to ask the right questions?

Katya sighed at that point and since he asked a direct question since he obviously wasn't getting the point she would give him a direct answer, "No, I am not." Her business was hers and up until now had been kept under the radar.? "We need to find out who sent you there in and that is what we are going to concentrate on, love." She hoped that he would let it go at this point and focus on what is really important at the moment.

Katya sighed at that point and since he asked a direct question since he obviously wasn't getting the point she would give him a direct answer, "No, I am not." Her business was hers and up until now had been kept under the radar.? "We need to find out who sent you there in and that is what we are going to concentrate on, love." She hoped that he would let it go at this point and focus on what is really important at the moment.

Now that gave him pause but he kept quiet now pondering how they were going to go forward if she wasn't being truthful or was it she simply didn't want him in completely?? It was ok as long as he was within arms reach their occasional connection but really inside?? He drove to the safehouse now he really did have to think on what he was missing with them or was he missing anything...he just didn't see the writing on the wall and that were sharing a bed, not lives and maybe that was enough for her?

When he pulled into the parking lot of three level non-descriptive?building that was part strip mall on one end he moved towards the opposite end.? The apartment side.? "You coming?"? He asked his voice just flat as he was even more business mode now.? ?He needed to go in and down stairs to a boiler room that had a passage in that.yielded a secret bunker.? He was going to hope that Zsa Zsa was still on this side of talking.??

She followed Ashton ensuring to stay quiet as they moved through the building and down the stairs. Nothing but what was happening was on her mind.

Katya was right behind him, "yep," she said as she prepared herself for anything by "vamping out" extending her fangs and claws and heightening her senses.

She followed Ashton ensuring to stay quiet as they moved through the building and down the stairs. Nothing but what was happening was on her mind.

Ashton could both feel her and smell her, they had kissed once he knew her smile almost intimately, her Arrow were taking a break.? Which as saying something, they were close to he and Katya, but neither were immortal, ZsaZsa was but a fledgling witch she was at the beginning of her skills.? To him at least, more complicated spells would require more time and preparation.? She was adept at them but nothing like some of her other coven members.??

He knocked on the door.

When it opened the raven haired woman looked at him, there was some amount of fear in her eyes but mostly recognition.? She stood back a slight frown reached her face as she saw Ashton and the woman he was with.? Just the look of Katya told ZsaZsa? with the physical description of Katya by her looks reminded ZsaZsa of who this might have been.? She didn't ask what they wanted, the fact that he was here and with Katya, enforced the brief precog image she had gotten a couple of days ago, that her own lover was......

"So what can I do you both for?"? She asked closing the door., wasting no time with?pleasantries today? The place was a two bedroom apartment under ground, It was normally well maintained and clean...but not now.? He was almost hurricane hit as ZsaZsa was packing, with Arrow gone she knew the score and whatever had put a bullet in her beau was more than likely coming for her as well and she needed to make herself scarce pretty damned quick.

"Since you look like you are in a hurry.? This is Katya, Katya, ZsaZsa."? He said his woman was still important to him even if they were.having a..tiff about TRUST at the moment. "Who gave you the intel that sent me to the docks last night?"? He asked his own features stoic, which to her he looked normal as his typical grim working demeanor etched upon his dark features made him look almost scary to most..

When Ashton and her arrived at the door with nothing to stop them, Katya relaxed a little bit.? Then the door opened to reveal a lovely, but agitated raven haired woman.? As they entered the apartment, Katya used her sense of smell to tell if anyone else was there.? She didn't pick up on anyone so relaxed a little more, letting her claws retract.? She still maintained her extended fangs as it would be quicker to extend the claws if she had too.

When Ashton introduced the two ladies, Katya simply gave Zsa Zsa a nod as she knew this wasn't a social visit.? She remained by the door to stay out of the way and let Ashton speak to Zsa Zsa.

Who had to be important to him cause he hadn't brought anyone with him in ever.

"So you are saying you told Arrow that it wasn't a good source for shipping?"? He looked at her with a raised eyebrow as things were coming together.? She had been removed from the equation or she was trying to cover her behind.? He couldn't hear the change in timeral to indicate she was lying so that left him with her telling the truth and Arrow set him up.? 'So if Arrow set him up why was he dead?? Loose end maybe?'

"So now you need to go since whoever killed Arrow will be coming after you next."? He said as he looked at her, he was aware she needed to get off the streets and quickly.? He wrote down an address of another safehouse.? "If you can make it here you will be safe for a bit...long enough for me..Us to figure this out at least then you should be safe after that!

He turned to Katya wondering if she had any questions.? He would have to find the Duke to confirm her story, besides that he needed to go and finally check on Arrow..

Katya listened to the exchange of words and was curious when Zsa Zsa and Ashton mentioned goods of their own?? So, he had secrets as well.? She thought this had something to do with the human trafficking ring, but apparently it was something totally different.? Should she dare ask him what this?was really in regards to after not wanting to tell him about her own operations?? She simply shook her head when Ashton looked at her knowing that he was wanting to know if she had anything to ask Zsa Zsa.? She was really answering her own question.? She would just simply go along and eventually, all of her questions would be answered.
