Raconteur City: The Awakening (Posting Order: Scarlett, Kitty/Katya, Hollywood/Diego/NPC Isabel, Ariein, Colin, open) Add your name as you join the thread.

Scarlett nodded, ¡°The local gangs have sustained considerable losses. The two main crime syndicates here are the Jamaican Posse and a Japanese Yakuza Clan called the Red Lotus. Typical human gangs, they could be exterminated, and no one would miss them. This cartel, however, does not appear to be associated with our¡­community here. To my knowledge, they have not announced themselves to the Midnight Society, making this a territorial issue.

¡°The cartel calls itself Los Muertos and the front man here in Raconteur is a vampire called Javier Delgado,¡± she continued. ¡°They have been in communication with someone named Sofia in Northern Mexico, but I haven¡¯t been able to determine much more than that."

(Hollywood)
Hollywood looked at Diego as Scarlett said the name of the cartel. He shook his head as he knew who they were, he shook himself as if he shivered, glanced up at Hollywood then back at Scarlett. Hollywood then said, "yes, I have heard their name before and Sofia is a witch and seems to run the entire show from there. As for exterminating the local human gangs, I have no reason to do so. We need to get rid of this cartel that is wreaking havoc on the supernatural sides of things. I want you to find out what other types of beings may be with this cartel aside from vampires. I have a strong feeling that their is more to them than vampires. Then we can make a move to take them out."

(Kitty/Katya)
The two exchanged glances when they saw the wolf react to the name of the cartel. Kitty wondered what his connection had been and if he was more than just a wolf. Katya received a text back from her contact and her suspicions?were confirmed, that this Los?Muertos were behind the attack at the docks. She would have to let Ashton know soon.

(Colin)
Colin had slipped quietly in the door for the main room as Hollywood had finished speaking. He knew he was late, but hoped that his absence then sudden appearance had been noticed. He wondered at the woman sitting on the throne with a black wolf, no werewolf, at her side. He would know a werewolf anywhere thanks to his sister. He wondered how many others in the room realized what he was. He would wait to introduce himself when the time was right.

She was no longer a Protector and hadn't been for more than 35 years. But it seemed she and the Midnight Society had a mutual opponent and working together made sense. Besides, if she could repair the bridges she'd burned with the vampire nation it wouldn't hurt.

With that Hollywood gave her a wave of dismissal.? Then she glanced around the room and noticed a new comer had suddenly appeared in the room. He was late, but whomever he was had made an appearance. "Now, if there is no other pressing business I am open for introductions to those who have not done so."

(Kitty/Katya)
The two ladies had already met with the Prince and remained where they were. Both wanting to know who was present for different reasons. Kitty was a social butterfly and was always interested in meeting other vampires. Katya had a business to run and needed to know who her competition?might be and who her contacts for further her business are. She had heard the door open and glanced back and noticed the sudden appearance of Colin. She simply shook her head knowing that he would be late, but glad he actually made an appearance.

Colin had realized that he was noticed upon arriving and hoped that he wouldn't be punished, but when the Prince said she was ready for introductions, he waited until the red head had left the sire's presence before approaching.?

? ?The redhead bowed and stepped back. As Hollywood moved on to others in the room, Scarlett decided it was time for her leave the Midnight Society and get on with the rest of her evening. She left the main chamber and on her way out left her business card with one of Hollywood's people.
? ?She then left the Midnight Society and made her way to where she'd parked her motorcycle so she could move on to her next destination...
