Kitty narrowed her eyes a moment,
then with a shrug said, ¡°Well, usually when these feelings come across the
cosmos it is because someone or something suddenly died unexpectedly and in an
unusual way. What did you do after leaving here, yesterday?¡± She paused as she
felt the pager from the Midnight Society buzz in her pocket. She reached into
the little pocket of her mini skirt and looked at the number and then the code
after it. ¡°Hm, apparently I am needed at the Society¡by 3 am.¡± She looked at
the clock on the wall behind the bar. ¡°I have a few moments, back to you. Want
to make sure you aren¡¯t in any trouble with the cosmos.¡±

(Katya)
Katya found the right contact and
sent her a quick text message with coded letters and number. She waited until
the contact responded then looked back at Eryc. ¡°Now, I believe we should
report to the Midnight Society¡¡± She paused as a text from the very place she
was speaking of sent her a message. ¡°¡hm, guess we are being called to the
Society.¡± She looked at Eryc, ¡°I am going to leave you here, I will let them
know why you are not there.¡± Eryc gave her a smile.

Layla had been walking down the
street when the coded message from Katya came through. She sent a reply back
and then made her way to Arrow¡¯s apartment. She made sure no one was there
before she stealthily made her way inside. She knew to look at the desk and
sure enough she found the documents that the man had found while following the
trail at the docks. She heard someone coming and before they entered the door,
she made her way out the window and went down the fire escape with the
documents tucked inside her jacket.

As Scarlett entered the Society she
was greeted by a tall, well-built dark-skinned vampire, ¡°Welcome back to the
Midnight Society. The Prince will be meeting everyone in the main conference
room. Please follow me.¡± He led Scarlett to the largest room in the place. It
looked more like a royal court room from the Middle Ages. there was an actual
throne on a dais. Several long tables along the walls with several glasses and
decanters filled with the freshest of blood. There were chairs scattered
throughout the room and a few small love seats. ¡°Please take some refreshment
if you wish. The Prince will be along soon.¡±

Hollywood was fully infused and felt
fully awake. She waited until all of the infusion equipment was removed before
standing up from the special chair. She stretched her hands above her head and
once she felt ready she left the room and made her way to her living quarters.
Here she showered and dressed in full gear all in black. She donned her black
trench to finish the look. She looked to Diego, ¡°I need my pet by my side
tonight.¡± With a nod, Diego slipped out of his clothing, laying it neatly on
the bed and then shifted to his black wolf form and proudly walked beside his
master.
(Ashton)
He was worried when he couldn¡¯t find her, she was supposed to be gone.? He
pulled out his phone tracker and began to follow it.? He found the tracer
to her phone in a crushed car.? He frowned as he pondered if someone
didn¡¯t want him to find her again.
Now was the process of finding what was in Arrow¡¯s place that was so important
that he missed he would turn the place upside down.? To which it worked as
he found a few things he hadn¡¯t before.? Two of which made him frown.
(Cho)
He looked at Kitty and it seemed she wanted to know what had happened or
actually she was blaming him for something, of which he wasn¡¯t sure of.?
¡°I went to get something to eat¡I ended up getting ice cream, I happened upon
two dates but one took me home for dessert.? Seems she really wanted ME
for dessert and she ended up with a fiery indigestion after she tried to kill
me.? It was her or me.¡± ?He gazed at her.
?¡°I am sure the cosmos isn¡¯t interested in my non-existent sex life.?
Why?¡±? He found himself looking at her over a shot he had poured
himself.? He honestly wished that his good time would have been with her,
but it seems she had other plans and his own plans went belly up when she tried
to sink her teeth in him and drain him.??

Scarlett followed to what appeared to
be something almost like a royal court room from the Middle Ages, complete with
a throne on a dais.
¡°Please take some refreshment if you
wish. The Prince will be along soon.¡±
Scarlett nodded and looked to several
long tables along the walls with glasses and decanters filled with what smelled
like fresh blood.
The redhead took a glass and poured herself
some fresh blood. She then roamed around the immaculate chamber, looking over
the tapestries and paintings that hung on the walls. She had not set foot in
this part of the Midnight Society in many tears¡since she had been exiled.
Part of her loathed this place, these
creatures¡but in more than a century and a half of being a vampire herself and
having spent the last 35 years ostracized from this society, she found herself feeling
more at home here than she thought she¡¯d ever feel.
Like it or not, these were the only
people she had now. All of the humans she¡¯d known more than 150 years ago were
dead and gone ¨C not that any of them would have wanted anything to do with the
monster she¡¯d become.
No¡this was all she had. Like it or
not.
She sipped from her glass and awaited
the arrival of more guests.
