Victoria watched her brother closely.?The beauty of being more werewolf than vampire was that she could smell and pick up on subtle changes in one's biology. And increase heart rate. The beginnings of perspiration. The change in tonal inflection. Even the slighted most minute detail she could detect in ways that vampires (like her brother and father and mother, who tended to be more self-centered) missed. It was one of the reasons why Colin let her handle the grimier, if you will, side of the business. Once because she had a perchance for violence and two because she had impeccable instincts which made it quite hard for people to lie to deceive them.

And in this case, her brother was revealing information he was trying to hide. "You are fucking her." Tori said. "And before you scold me on using a word I know you find crass tell me I'm wrong. Because I can smell that you either have or want to. So don't lie to me because you know that I'll..."

Tori sniffed the air then. Someone was in their home. And she knew who. She smiled. She got off the kitchen stool and quickly moved to the hall. "Papa," she said when she saw the man standing there. Throwing herself into his arms. "What are you doing here? Where is mother?"

Before Colin could respond, Tori suddenly headed towards the hallway. He spotted their father at that moment and was glad for the sudden intrusion into their home. He made his way to Vincent and held out his hand in greeting, "hello, father."

Vincent held Tori close and shook Colin's hand, the two sharing a friendly smile. "I have come to meet this new prince that everyone is talking about. Mother had to remain at home to take care of some things." He walked back into the kitchen with his children. "Tell me how are things here and son, I am curious to know more about this Katya that Tori is speaking about."

Katya started a text conversation. "What did you think of the new Prince?" She sent it with a smile.

Before Colin could respond, Tori suddenly headed towards the hallway. He spotted their father at that moment and was glad for the sudden intrusion into their home. He made his way to Vincent and held out his hand in greeting, "hello, father."

Vincent held Tori close and shook Colin's hand, the two sharing a friendly smile. "I have come to meet this new prince that everyone is talking about. Mother had to remain at home to take care of some things." He walked back into the kitchen with his children. "Tell me how are things here and son, I am curious to know more about this Katya that Tori is speaking about."

Katya started a text conversation. "What did you think of the new Prince?" She sent it with a smile.

Tori stepped back out of her fathers arms to give her father some room to shake her brothers hand. She listen to him, explain how their mother wasn’t able to join join him on this trip and she frowned. “ that’s a shame. We don’t get to see mother nearly as much.”

When her father asked her brother about Kayta, she gave him a suspicious look “ yeah, me too. Why don’t you tell us all about her.” She said looking at Colin a mischievous teasing look in her eyes.

Just then, she heard his cell phone ding and she smiled. “is at her?”

When her father asked her brother about Katya, she gave him a suspicious look “ yeah, me too. Why don’t you tell us all about her.” She said looking at Colin a mischievous teasing look in her eyes.

Just then, she heard his cell phone ding and she smiled. “is at her?”

He glanced at it then put it back in his pocket. He poured Tori a chardonnay. "Really, both of you. There is nothing to tell. She is simply a business partner of Tori and I." He gave her a look that said, shut up now, sis.

Vincent accepted the glass and with a nod of thanks to Colin, turned to Tori, "is she the one that supplies the humans for our business?"

Tori saw Colin’s face and smirked to herself. But he was her brother…her twin and it had always been him and her against the world. So she gave him quarter and went quiet.?

“Buisness has indeed been good. Did you come into town because of the awakening of the prince. Do you know her? Have you met her?”
