"I have to say the food here's pretty good," Splice said as she and the other girl headed for the dining area.? "If you like Asian stuff, try the pad thai.? It's muey deliscioso and filling but you'll still have room for dessert afterwards."

After going through the line, Splice led the way to a table near one of the windows with an excellent view outside.? "Do you like any sports?" she asked, setting her tray down and then pulling out a chair.? "You look like you must work out a lot.? Or are you just one of those lucky people who just looks like they do but never has to actually work for it?"? Her eyes took in Sadie with an openly admiring gaze.? "Either way, it certainly seems to work for you.? I wish I looked half as good as you do."

Sadie gathered a plate of General Tsao's chicken with rice, an egg roll and a Coke. They grabbed a table and were seated when Splice asked her about sports and whether she worked out much.
The tall, dark-haired girl ate some of her food, then looked across the table at Colleen and smiled, "I like football...American. Soccer is OK, but more about the NFL and NOT because of Taylor Swift and her boyfriend.?
"As for working out, I do...some...but a lot of my physique is due to my abilities," she smiled. "I hate to say it, but I guess I'm one of those 'lucky people' as you said."
Sadie looked Colleen over admiringly and smiled, "Your look also suits you. It's cute, but still edgy. I like it. I'm glad we're roomies."
After eating some more, Sadie continued, "So, what is this place like? Best classes? Best teachers? Anyone I should stay away from?"
