Was visiting with Brooklyn, they were merely talking.? Unfortunately for him they both had a good cry.? He continued to hold her as that was the comfort that they both seemed to need right now.? When the phone call came through he frowned at his phone.? >? He wasn't sure what to make of it.? "I need to go to HQ, you can come by anytime or call or I can come by and see you tomorrow.? I would invite you to come with me...but...I wouldn't know how you would feel about that or how long I might be?? I feel bad for leaving you right now, but I know Ireland meant as much to you as she did to me.? I just didn't want you to think...I wasn't trying to be there for you...still." He said.? He was focused on being her friend right now..they both needed one....he did at least and right now she was as close to Ireland as he was going to get.

He would let her decide on whether she was going to come or stay but he did need to get back...he just didn't know why it was so urgent...he could only hope it wasn't what he thought it was.? He was honestly not sure he could handle that and the finality of what that meant.

The security officer noted the brief text that popped up on her smartphone. "Good." she texted back.? "Will see you in my office when you get here.? Exercise extreme caution."? She hesitated a moment, then added "Trust no one" and hit send.??

Well, that's one on the way, she thought, slipping the smartphone back in her jacket.? No response from Mia yet.? She hoped that the water-whisperer wasn't being targeted, but there was no way to be sure.??

Checking that her office security was fully up and hadn't been compromised, Macamber pulled up two documents on her laptop and began studying them.? One was Chord's will.? The other... wasn't.? She wondered if Brandon would be able to tell the difference.? And what it would mean if he could.

Gen was startled when Kites picked her up bodily so that her legs were wrapped around the winged youth's waist, then carried her over to the table and rested her butt on the edge.? The closeness of Kites though chased all other thoughts from her mind, making her relax in his arms, and when he began touching her back, and then her face and thigh, her body automatically began shifting to male mode. She could feel the changes in the usual places, her face becoming leaner, her chest flattening, and of course the discomfort in his crotch as that part of him was demanding more space.? And all of him was wanting even more contact.??

"Is it selfish?" the androgyne mused with something of a smirk, his hands now touching Kites' face in return.? "Probably.? Now ask me if I care." Wrapping his legs even more tightly around Kites' waist, Gen pulled the other boy's face close and began kissing him hungrily.??

"I think I already know the answer," Kites murmured as he let himself be drawn in the androgyne's embrace.? Their mouths collided with force.? Lips smacking, teeth knocking, tongues lashing as they simply set about devouring each other.? Every touch that he received from his lover electrified him, causing the hairs on his arms to stand on end and set his skin on fire, flushing his whole entire body with a deep, pink hue.? His chest expanded as he inhaled Gen's scent, a cocktail of peaches and something else that made his mind heady, making him get drunker and drunker, and dizzier and dizzier the more he was around Gen.? His sunk his hands into Gen's waist, his thumbs rolling lazy circles on the androgyne's hips, grinding their bodies together as he moaned out, pulling back for just a moment to catch his breath.
"What is is about you that makes me so crazy for you, Gen?" Kites asked, his heart beating like a machine gun.? He placed their foreheads together, willing himself to bring some semblance of control before he completely lost it.? And he was very close to it, already toeing that line of no return.? His pants felt incredibly tight, as were Gen's if his erection was of any indication, his lover's legs locking him in and not letting go.? The androgyne knew just what effect he had on the winged youth, dragging his hands through Kites's downy feathers that lined his back and surrounded his wings, causing the other to shudder in response.? "Did I tell you how dangerous that is?? If you continue touching my wings like that then I'll be forced to devour you head to toe."? Corny?? Maybe.? Did he care?? Absolutely not.
