I am disgust that one of our kind would actually let themselves be used in such a way. But then again I was raised by vampires so maybe I¡¯m just as bad.¡± (Ragnvall) Ragnvall stopped them and turned her to face him, "my child, you were raised by two loving parents who just happen to be vampires. "I think that would be an excellent idea. Now, what else might you be in need of?" He asked as they lounged on the large benches around the fire pit in the middle of the hall. I think I finally learn that tonight¡ the hard way,¡± she paused again and then blurted out. ¡°Do you know anything about my parents. I mean my real parents. Victoria toyed with a piece of twig she picked up off the ground. After a bit of contemplation she shook her head. ¡°No. I think Colin is their son. Really their son. And I think they found me or I was given to them at the same time he was found so they just called us twins. Do I think we are really twins?¡± She paused again. Feeling the tinge of pain in her heart. ¡°No. I don¡¯t think so.¡± The more she thought about her questions and what she was saying the more guilty she felt. Chantel and Vincent had taken her in. Had given her a home cared for her¡loved her¡this¡talk¡was a betrayal to them.? ¡°I¡¯m being ridiculous. My parents are my parents. Trying to seek out two people who obviously didn¡¯t want me is foolish, selfish, and hurtful.¡± She paused as if trying to convince herself, nodded then stood. ¡°Thank you for this talk. As always you¡¯ve offered me so much clarity. I should get home. My father¡¯s still there visiting and I want to spend a little time with him before he heads home.¡± (Ragnvall) Ragnvall gave her a nod, "very well. We will forego the shaman, then. I do think you need to speak with your father on this. He might give you the answers you seek. But if you ever wish to know the answers are in youyour blood. (Victoria) Victoria hugged Ragnvall thanking him for just being there for her after all these years. She made her way to the front of the pack grounds, far enough away that they would not be bothered by unwanted visitors and got in the car that was waiting for her. She had in the car that Colin liked to use just as she left the pack so she didn¡¯t have to run home. When she arrived back at home. She went upstairs. She took a nice long hot shower trying to work out the last of her frustration and hurt. ?She dressed simply¡ª a pair of leggings and an oversize sweater ¡ª then she went to find her brother only to discover he wasn¡¯t there. She sent off a quick text message that read, thank you for being the best brother in the world.? It was one of the many things she loved about Collin he never judged her. It was wonderful considering she got enough of being judged at court. it wasn¡¯t easy being a werewolf the family of vampires. if she wasn¡¯t being compared to a pet, she was expected to be the servants. it could be hard and lonely sometimes, but Collins always had her back. after she was done dressing and pulled her hair up into a ponytail. thinking about what Ragnvall said. Her father was still here so she could talk to him about this. The question was did she want to? She never wanted to approach subject with her parents before because in the past when she tried they quickly shut it down. Especially her father. sighing, Victoria went down to the kitchen to make herself some hot chocolate. ?lighting of fire she sat on the floor in front of the hearth. Thinking. ? |
