“Hey sweetie. How’s the fence holding up? ” She had called out to him when she heard him come into the house. Charlotte had just bend over to put the apple pie in oven when he came in and smacked a rear. He loves to do that.?

In truth, she hated it when he did that. But she didn’t complain or make too much of a fuse about it. Chase was a good man. And when a woman found herself a good man sometimes she could let somethings side. Even if it did annoy her...

They have been married for going on seven years. together they had two strapping sons Eric, who was six and Philip who was five. Both love and look up to their pa...and wanted to be just like him. Their daughter Ellie, baby girl as Chase refer to her as, was a daddy’s girl through and through.

“Big assed creatures, not that smart and continue to make more work for me, but thank God for the work.”? He said with a wink.? He loved the smell of her pie, but when she glared at him he wondered did she not like when he did that?? Perhaps it was one of her….peeves he was told about.? He knew that was what his father did and his father before him, but maybe his lovely mate was not cut from the same cloth.? He pulled his hand back and put it on her waist instead. His other hand he stroked her cheek.? “You mean the world to me Char…not just your body…ok?”? He said wondering if he sounded like one of those charming foreigners the woman raged about in town.?? He did want to charm her still.

“Ah no don’t give away my pies…or my love.”? He said kissing her lightly, not sure he could get away with something deeper before the kids came by.? He shook his head as he heard her and stuck his tongue out at her as she told him he stunk.? He knew what that meant, if he wanted any chance of being close with her tonight it would behoove him to wash.? That he could do, he went to the pump to go get cleaned up, he even had some of that good smelling soap to make himself smell cleaner.? “Go help yo Ma set the table boys.”? He was looking forward to seeing his baby girl once she woke up she would be set to sleep through the night after dinner.
