"No!" Gen said quickly to Akira's apology.? Too quickly, the androgyne thought afterwards, chagrined.? "I mean, it's not that I don't like to be touched. I... I actually kinda like being touched.? ?Probably because I didn't get enough of it at the lab once I became conscious."? He chewed on his lip, trying to think how to explain it.? "They were studying me, trying to see how my body would respond to different stimuli in the ways they wanted.? So it was always, you know, controlled."

"Like I said, I was designed with planetary exploration in mind, so they made my body adaptable to a number of different environments.? Including, well, social environments.? If I touch someone for a prolonged period, I... adapt to them.? My body picks up on little cues they put out and shifts in ways to become more... compatible." Gen blushed as he added "Like for, you know, intimate interactions."

Akira listened and smiled at Gen when he said he liked to be touched. "Well, if that is the case." He said and scooted a little closer to the lad, letting his thigh be right next to Gen's. "What kinds of stimuli?" He wondered what all the boy had been through. "Doesn't sound very pleasant."

Akira listened and smiled at Gen when he said he liked to be touched. "Well, if that is the case." He said and scooted a little closer to the lad, letting his thigh be right next to Gen's. "What kinds of stimuli?" He wondered what all the boy had been through. "Doesn't sound very pleasant."

"They tested me for responses to all kinds of stimuli.? Physical proximity, for example," Gen said, glancing down to where Akira's bare thigh was now so close that even without actually touching, the androgyne could feel its nearness and the heat coming off of it.? "And from there, actual touch, like skin brushing against skin," he went on, shifting slightly so that the bare parts of their thighs made contact.? He let the contact linger, staring into Akira's eyes.? "I can pick up responses like the ones you're giving off now," he murmured.? "Like the way your breathing has suddenly altered, and the pupils in your eyes have started to dilate a bit.? And the way you're starting to emit subtle pheromones," he added, leaning nearer and sniffing gently close to the other youth's neck, "even though you probably cannot smell them yourself."

Realizing he might be going too far, Gen drew back a bit, blushing slightly and averting his gaze.? "Actually, it could be very pleasant," he murmured.? "Sometimes, anyways."

Akira shook his head, as he moved his leg away from Gen's at the same time that Gen moved. "Okay, okay. I am not a science experiment. Don't need to tell me what my body is doing, there friend." It sent shivers down his spine. "That's just creepy." He turned his attention back to his food. "I can move through things. Jump pretty high and land on my feet if I fall from a height. Kind of like a cat." He told Gen of his abilities. "Not sure what else I can do...still figuring it all out myself."
