Aurora walked to the dining room in the Benders of Light mansion.? All was prepared for the new comers to be introduced to the group.? She was glad to have a few new comers, it was time to start moving forward with the team and start making themselves known in the town of Port Vega.

(Devi)

Devilynn Josephine Shellito had never thought that she would have been asked to join a group of criminals. Well those that skirted the law. Still she found it interesting that she was asked. Devi had been thinking on her way home that night if she was going to wear a costume. She hoped so cause she had already decided what she wanted. The fact that she had already started to make one, didn't matter.

? ?Devi had gotten ready earlier and had spent the rest of the day going over paper work till it was time to go. Devi was always on time unless she planned on being late. Which tonight was not one of them. She made her way to her garage, got in her car and headed out.?

? ?It didn't take long to arrive at the mansion. She pulled up and made her way inside. All the while taking in everything she could. Letting her body find the natural?rhythm of the surrounding area. This way if she had to go quickly, she could. She made her way up to the door and rang the bell.

(Lightning Rod)

Roddy was impressed when he saw the mansion.? "Maybe these Bender-clowns are serious," he murmured as he rode his motorcycle up the illuminated driveway, stopping at the bottom of the marble stone steps leading up to the entrance.? He tossed his keys to what he assumed was a parking attendant of some kind in spite of the fancy suit the man was wearing.??"Not a scratch if you want a tip, Jeeves," he said theatrically as he started up the steps.

He didn't see any other cars nearby and frowned, wondering if he was early. But then shrugged.? "Probably just wanting to be fashionably late," he muttered.? He noticed a girl standing by the door ringing the bell.? "Well, at least I'm not the first one to show," he said, giving the tall polished doors an appraising lookover. He looked back to the girl, trying to assess her as well.? She didn't exactly radiate menace, which he found disappointing. He was hoping for more.

"So, you here for the meet'n'greet?" he asked, trying to sound like he did this sort of thing all the time.

(Raine)

?Was dressed for the evening, shirt, tie, vest, and jacket.? He was pretty sure this was more to set precedence more than anything.? He was the second in command because he had earned it and he took his job seriously, perhaps too seriously.? He was going down to check on Aurora, he was wanting to know what he had missed.? He gave her his debrief and was now looking forward to taking down his little brother and his rag-tag group.? He was sure he would have to deal with dear ol’ dad since Brandon was not into himself enough to present a decent challenge for him.? He did a last check over himself and he was clean as he went downstairs to great or deal with their guests.? He roamed out of his room and down the stairs easily as he waited to see Aurora and waited for the others to show.?

“Good evening lovely.”? He said next to her just loud enough for the two of them to hear.? With similar powers, they could both speak hypersonically to each other.

(Aurora)

Aurora took a moment to look at Raine.? He was handsome in his suit and tie, but she needed Photon to attend, not Raine or Stephen.? "Hello to you as well, um, my dear," she placed a hand on his chest and stepped up closer to him.? "Not that I don't like you in this, because I do, but I need Photon here tonight." She batted her eyes at him and patted his chest.? "So, if you could make a quick clothing change, that would be great.? I will send Jordie to answer the door.? Meet us in the dinning hall."? With that she turned and walked away from him.? She liked the flirting with him, some day, maybe they would move past that stage.

Aurora was dressed in her finest green suit and hair glowed a brilliant dark green.? She knew she was ready for the night and to introduce the new members.? She moved to the dinning room to find Jordie and Misty chatting quietly together.? His lady, Amira was sipping a glass of wine while looking out the window.? "Jordie, please go and greet the guests and show them here."

(Jordie)

Jordie gave his boss a smile and after excusing himself from Misty's company made his way to the door.? He was dressed in a black suit and tie and wore sunglasses.? They helped hide the fact that his eyes could move faster then normal when he was researching, reading, or looking up stuff on the internet.? At times he started doing it when he wasn't concentrating on it and it tended to freak people out.? So he just took to wearing sunglasses all the time.? Lighter shaded ones for night.? He opened the door, "hello, and good evening.? Aurora is expecting you.? Hello, Misty." He greeted her with a smile, then to Lightening Rod, "I am Jordie.? Come this way please."? He turned to lead them inside.

[Mara]

Mara was fitfully asleep, having been curled up and hidden behind and beneath the night stand in one of the mansion's empty rooms.? She cared not to whom it had belonged, but Aurora didn't seem to care which she took either, so win-win.? Having had traveled for so long and not having had much rest either, she was happy to disappear for the rest of the day after she reviewed the facility blueprints that Aurora left for her on the computer.

It wasn't until the rumbling sound of a motorcycle engine going up the driveway reached her ears that Mara actually woke up.? She didn't realize just how tired she was and how deeply asleep until the vibrations through the floor panels are what it took to snap her out of it.? Yawning with her snake mouth, she tried to shake off the sleep as she slithered out from behind the night stand and as she reached the window, melded into her humanoid form, crossing her arms she she peered outside.

?

Hmph.? Some young punk on a motorcycle who thought himself a hotshot.? Mara studied the way he walked, his body shape and his demeanor.? She didn't see the other person who appears to have already arrived, though by the sounds of their rising voices, it was a female.? They must all be gathering for dinner, so that meant Mara also had to make an appearance.? Very well.? She changed into a deep v-neck burned maroon and copper colored dress, tying a high waisted sash beneath her bust and then looped the strings around her thighs where the skirt split to reveal her legs.? Not needing to brush her hair, she simply ran her fingers through it and deeming it enough, melded back into a snake and slithered on downstairs, keeping to the shadows.

The dining room was empty save for a few servants who rushed to put on the finishing touches.? They neither seen nor felt Mara when she found a nice, dark corner to settle into and observe and listen before truly making her appearance.? She wanted to see everyone who was meant to show up in order to get a proper good look at them.

(Devi)

? ?Devi had just made it to the door of the mansion when she heard someone approach. She turned to see a rather young looking man. He made a comment about not being the first one here and if she was here for the meet-n-greet. Devi looked at the new comer and grinned. A mischievous grin at that. "Yep, here for the meet-n-greet. Names Devi. And yours?"

? ?When the door opened Devi turned her attention to who had opened it. She grinned at seeing Jordie. When he greeted the two of them and said that Aurora was waiting for them. "It is good to see you again Jordie. You are looking as handsome as ever." He tone was friendly. She then looked to Lightening Rod and held out her arm. "Lets not keep the boss lady waiting."

(Lightning Rod)

"I'm..." Roddy hesitated a bit. 'Roddy' just didn't sound impressive. And he was here to impress.? "...Lightning Rod," he finished, imagining a suitable musical theme in his head, something ominous with minor chords. But debonair.? Yeah, definitely debonair.? ?

?

At that point the door opened to reveal a stranger in sunglasses, a man whom Devi seemed to know.? Apparently he worked for Aurora and was here to open the doors and stuff.? He noticed that Devi was holding out her arm expectantly.? "Right. Don't want to keep the boss lady waiting," he said, taking her offered arm on his and stepping inside.? The interior that he could see was even more grand than the exterior had been.? He gestured grandly to the sunglasses guy.? "Lead on, Jeeves."??

(Raine)

?Raine was only slightly disappointed by the request, he felt like a fool a bit.? He really had dressed for her, he was actually hoping for…nevermind. ??By the tone of her voice, she knew he had made himself more than presentable for her, that alone made him appreciate it.? He felt her fingers moving across his chest, the soft voice from her as she made her desires known.? He wished he wasn’t so smitten by her he might have resisted.? But she was more of the brains of the outfit.? He wasn’t stupid or dumb his cunning existed in the use of his powers, he was creative deadly and had learned their use more supremely being with her, not sure whether it was to impress her or teach her that he could be her equal both in and out of the field.? He leaned down and kissed her cheek lightly, very much wishing it was her lips he was tasting.? He wasn’t angry he knew they were leaders together and if this was to be her show of solidarity then so be it.?? “As you wish my sweet.”? He moved away from her to go change, one day he wouldn’t be kissing her cheek solely and she would also be kissing back.? His hand swatted her rear as he moved away from her, it was something that did and he had not only gotten used to doing it but he enjoyed anytime he could put his hands on her body.? He could be playful at times and not all serious but she only saw that side, outside of his family.? Tonight his desire needed a bodyguard, for her he would do that without question.

They had been together for a bit and he was hoping one day to get beyond their simple flirting.? To the point ?to where he would be hopefully peeling her out of that dress that made her look so divine this evening.? He found himself thinking of his family, each one of them.

Most of all the fact that he had spent the day with his beloved sister.? He knew full well why Brandon had been in love with her.? He too might have fallen under her spell, but those two were thick as thieves and he was simply her protector.? The strange thing was it didn’t matter as much to him.? He wanted a sister more than a lover with her, he knew where she was most of the time and he made sure no one hurt her.? Sure some guys got the hint the hard way and broke up with her, but he made sure none put a hand on his babygirl…period.? He knew she was intimate with others it was her choice but he didn’t do hurting her or disrespecting her at all.? She was his sister and he didn’t allow that!

He quickly undressed and put on his bracers a gift from his father.? The man was a genius costume maker and the items easily went along with his powers.? He undressed hanging up the suit, maybe he would just after ask her out in order to wear it…it wouldn’t be a surprise though since she had seen him in it.

?

He pulled on his shirt and shorts, pants, and boots.? Even though the bracers generated the costume it needed some material to start with generally, that and if something went wrong he didn’t want to be naked.? Not that they ever did with dad’s things but he wasn’t wanting to be identified and link things back to the family.

?

?When the costume was activated he was in a cowl mask only allowing his mouth to be free, his eyes were visible but they had only become white in the outfit with no pupils which meant he could be any black man beneath the outfit that still revealed his muscular form.
