Damon took to heart what the lady had said, but at the same time, it wasn't who he was. He wasn't someone who humbled himself to others. So, he said, "I will think on what you have said." He looked in the direction of where Khadashee had looked. "So, he does have a child." He said under his breath, but she would have heard him.

Draven spotted the two and debated turning around to take Bridgett back to her mother, but Bridgett wanted to talk to Khadashee. "Hello, finding the town to your liking?" Draven asked as they approached the two. He put Bridgett down once they had joined Damon and Khadashee.
