He said as he stood and gathered up their trays of dishes and walked them to the window where that sort of things would be taken care of. ? He turned to Gen at that point, "so, ready to go and do some shopping? The campus store is quite large and we can find most anything we might need or want there." ? (Gen) ? "Sure," Gen replied eagerly.? "I've never really been shopping before.? I mean, I've been in stores, but I never had any actual money.? Most of the time, if there was anything I needed, I had to scrounge around for it.? It's amazing what some people will toss out.? I've got a bunch of stuff back at the lighthouse that I found going through trashcans and dumpsters." ? "There'll probably be books and stuff that I'll need, yes?" he asked.? Diego Diego gave Scarlett a small smile, "I will be fine. Go ahead and take the Prince to the safe house. He will know where to go as well as the driver. I will meet you all there as soon as I can." Vespasian looked at the wolf and wondered what he was up to, but didn't say anything. Instead he turned to Scarlett. "Yes, Ms. MacAleister, let's be off." Scarlett MacAleister Somehow, the redheaded vampire felt more at ease when Diego was with them, despite his true nature, for after he left, she became slightly fearful of what might be ahead for she and Vespasian. Someone was gunning for the prince's head and Scarlett truly didn't want to be the vampire charged with his safety. If something happened, she would be an easy scapegoat, especially with Tempest lurking about somewhere -- possibly behind this entire plot. She also was not happy to be unarmed. She'd checked her weapons at the front door, but to go there now just to retrieve them would be dangerous, either from running into the would-be assassins or dealing with the possibly of daylight getting into the no longer safe building. Scarlett turned to Vespasian and nodded, then together they headed down into an underground passage which would take them to the parking garage where the van awaited them. They moved along the dimly lit concrete tunnel which travelled beneath the street outside the Midnight Society. If she had her bearings right, she remembered there was a private underground parking deck there. Apparently, this answered the question about who owned that facility.? ? Eventually they reached and door and stepped through, Scarlett going first to have a look around. Once she peeked out, she was a black delivery van parked there running in the underground portion of the parking ramp. The van was running, the door open, the windows otherwise darkened out. (Khadashee) Khadashee was nervous as she sat in the waiting room, waiting to be called back. When it finally happened and she was taken back to see the doctor, she felt like she was going to be sick. She never had a situation where she had seen a doctor and it had gone well. ?The old gentleman came in and tried his best to reassure her, but she was quite tense. However she did. He told her to do. She laid back and most cooperative as a doctor checked her. When he was done, he smiled. Spoke to Draven, and then together the two of them left.
She was still quite quiet as they walked around the lane to his home. ¡°Did you have a nice talk with your brother?¡± she said to make small talk her mind to preoccupied to remember if she had asked that question or not. Because of the last time she had been pregnant, and how it went. She didn¡¯t wanna know if there was something wrong with his child. Selfish, possibly. childish, maybe but after her last ordeal, she didn¡¯t think she could take it this time. so she had asked Draven to take the lead. Questions for Father? (Victoria, Vincent)
(Victoria) Victoria hugged Ragnvall thanking him for just being there for her after all these years. She made her way to the front of the pack grounds, far enough away that they would not be bothered by unwanted visitors and got in the car that was waiting for her. She had in the car that Colin liked to use just as she left the pack so she didn¡¯t have to run home. When she arrived back at home. She went upstairs. She took a nice long hot shower trying to work out the last of her frustration and hurt. ?She dressed simply¡ª a pair of leggings and an oversize sweater ¡ª then she went to find her brother only to discover he wasn¡¯t there. She sent off a quick text message that read,?thank you for being the best brother in the world.? It was one of the many things she loved about Collin he never judged her. It was wonderful considering she got enough of being judged at court. it wasn¡¯t easy being a werewolf the family of vampires. if she wasn¡¯t being compared to a pet, she was expected to be the servants. it could be hard and lonely sometimes, but Collins always had her back. after she was done dressing and pulled her hair up into a ponytail. thinking about what Ragnvall said. Her father was still here so she could talk to him about this. The question was did she want to? She never wanted to approach subject with her parents before because in the past when she tried they quickly shut it down. Especially her father. sighing, Victoria went down to the kitchen to make herself some hot chocolate. ?lighting of fire she sat on the floor in front of the hearth. Thinking. She sighed and tried to decompress after the ordeal she'd gone through to get here. She thought for a moment, recalling how easily she'd dispatched the foot soldiers sent by Mr. Gray. Slowly a smile spread across Sadie's face and she rolled on one side and looked over at the gamer girl, "How about...Reaper? Catchy? Maybe a little dark, but I like it. What do you think?" ?
