Scarlett turned from Them and retreated into the bedroom where she quickly shed the robe and dressed, pulling on a skin-tight leather bodysuit, boots, holsters and guns and her long leather duster.

Stepping back out of the room, she saw Them standing there, waiting, and she approached the angelic being. "I'm ready. Where are we going?"

Khadashee held on to hip tight as he lifted her and walked them into their bedroom. ?She didn’t realized how much she could love someone until Draven. Scarlett was surprised when Zuriel grabbed her arm and drew her back to them. She found herself face-to-face with them and it nearly took her breath away. Zuriel was amazing. The vampire nearly struggled to pull from their grip, but she found herself unable to resist as she looked into their eyes.

The captivating being spoke of her beauty and she felt herself swoon as they brushed her hair back from her face. She listened as Zuriel spoke and she found their words disturbing.
