(NPC Jordie) Jordie watched as Devi looked the photos over and made her comments.? "Well, Ms. Shellito, Aurora would like to hire your services as the mutant you are.? The Benders of Light can use someone who is able to, should I say, slip in and out of a place undetected.? It took a long time and many times of watching the video surveillance of that night before I was able to see exactly what you were doing.? I know the pictures don't truly show it, but it is very obvious on the video if someone knows how and what they are looking for."? He saw the two glasses and shook his head no.? "Here is Aurora's contact number.? Text it and she will call you back."? He pulled out a business card from his jacket pocket and handed it to Devi. (Devi)? ? ?Devi listened quietly as Jordie explained what was wanted of her. When he declined a drink she shrugged her shoulders a little. "Devi, please. Miss is way so formal." She took a sip of her whiskey. "You are missing out." As she raises her glass a little.? ? ?When Jordie hands her the card, Devi reached out and took it. She looked it over and then set it down. Her attention back on Jordie she smiled. Mischief was plain to see in her smile. "The Benders of Light. That's an interesting name." She took an other sip. (Devi) Devi looked Jordie up and down again before she took the envelope. "Nothing to drink then. (she smiled) All business. That can get a bit boring you know." She moved to the dining room where she leaned against the island that separated the dining room from the kitchen. She opened the envelope, pulled the pictures out, looked them over and smiled. She looked to Jordie. "So a few pictures of me. (she chuckled/giggled a little) Yes, I see the time stamps and the other stuff you have marked on here." She put the photos on the island moved to the kitchen and grabbed the?Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve Irish Whiskey. Along with two?Royal Scot Crystal Scottish Thistle?glasses. She set the whiskey and the glasses on the island next to the pictures. She opens and pours a glass for herself, looks to Jordie. "So what is it that you or should I say Aurora want?" (Anais) Anais made her way over to him. Sitting beside him. She took his hand and kissed his knuckles. ¡°Thank you for saying that. Thank you for understanding.?We had a disagreement, Draven. That doesn¡¯t mean I love you any less or you love me any less. It means that we¡¯re in a couple learning how to navigate each other.? ¡°Truth be told, I may have reacted a little aggressively myself. My father always told me that I have to be careful around his kind.?When you said you read my thoughts I felt betrayed. Like I have to protect myself from the one person on the face of the planet that I shouldn¡¯t have to protect myself from. Next time I promise to rain in my feelings a little bit more.? ¡°Thank you for your honesty. As for confrontations, we are going to have those. And there is nothing wrong with them. After all how else can we grow. We just have to remember to have them respectfully and to do this when their over.¡±?She said taking his face in her hands and kissing with a kiss and passionate she hoped he felt. (Draven) Draven pulled her close when she kissed him and returned the kiss with just as much passion.? Once completed he smiled at her.? "No, no you had every right to react the way you did.? Wasn't what I was expecting and it took me a little by surprise. "True, we will have our disagreements and at times heated arguments, every couple I know does.? However, please keep in mind that I am one who is geared to go into a physical attack with confrontations.? It is part of my nature.? So if I walk or run away from the situation, it is because I need to get myself calmed down.? I will always return to discuss.? And no I don't think it will happen every time."? He paused as he thought back to the last time. "And I will no longer run to the blood dens.? I do need fresh blood to help calm me, so I will have to figure that one out.? (Khadashee) Khadashee stood next to Draven and when he announced who she was, she was surprised. ¡°Captain Flynn. It is a pleasure to meet you. Whether or not I will compensate you will strongly depend on what kind of compensation you require. My body is not and will not be up for consideration within this negation. Shall...shall we..,¡± at the point Khadashee doubled over vomiting what little content of stomach she had upon the deck. (Draven/Flynn) Both captains quickly jumped out of the way when Khadashee suddenly vomited to not get any on their boots.? "Ah, well," Captain Flynn gave a signal to one of his nearby crew and the deck was quickly doused with a bucket of water which was followed by several more to wash the vomit off of the deck. Draven took hold of Khada once she was finished, "you need to sit down.? Apparently, swinging across on a rope was not the best action for you."? He handed her the envelope.? "Please take a look and then we will talk."? He waited while she pulled out the screen shots of her actions. He asked as he gave a signal to one of his crew who gave a signal to the rest on the Maiden Anne then swung over to the merchant vessel with the same signal.? (Anais and Co.) Three sets of eyes blinked at Draven when he commanded Anais remain. Anais nodded ¡°of course. Twenty minutes.¡± She said her voice soft. Mathias watched the interaction and suddenly felt very sad for the girl. There was definitely tension between them. And tension. Was never a good thing. ¡°So tell me lady, what did your father do.¡± He asked to break up the energy that fell upon the room. Anais was quiet as she watched Draven walk away.?¡°Pardon...¡± she said distract. ¡°Oh... He made me clean the toilet paper out of the beds and strip and change their sheets before I could go to bed that night. It took me about five hours ...I was only nine after all. The funny thing was you can¡¯t make a mattress dry so they still had to sleep in wet bed.¡± She smiled mischievously. ¡°Oh I like her.¡± Esmeralda said? Raconteur City: The Night Begins
The sun has just set on a small little town just east of New Orleans.? Unlike the big city, this little town has it's own night life.? The vampires like to come out and play, the spellcasters like to find ways to work the night's magic into their craft.? Slowly the demons decide they want to play and find ways to make that happen.? The last place any of us should be right now is below deck, including Khadashee.? If we need to abandon ship we all need to be topside.? I have got her."? He told them matter of factually?and quickly pulled her out of the way of a fight that started to their left. He pulled her along to the railing on the starboard side away from where the attacking ship was.? He recognized the ship and knew that their voyage on board the merchant vessel was about to come to an end.? He felt bad for the Captain and his crew.? "We may have to jump, Khada."
