(Hollywood) Hollywood looked up from the ledger book she was going over as she heard Ari's question. She sat back in the ornate chair behind the desk. "Nothing for now. Are you planning on remaining or returning to your Prince? If you wish to remain, I will have a guest room prepared." She looked at Ari, "I am glad to see that you are both alive, to bad we couldn't have reunited differently."

(Damon) "No, my mother passed away a few years ago. When I was cleaning out her things, I came across some dairies. I began reading them and learned about Draven and his father. My mother had no other children, just me." He said with a shrug, "a product of a wench's life when not being careful. Did Draven purchase you then or save you from some tyrant owner?" He asked just as curious about her life.

Carmen was hoping that the talk about the bride was done, but apparently not. "You all sound like you do pretty well for yourselves. Tell me some of the interesting sights in DC and New York, your favorites places to haunt." She gave Rhemy a smile, "I am glad to be a distraction."

Colin looked to his sister with a smile and communicated telepathically, "well, now it is your turn." He lifted his glass to her before taking a drink.

When Hollywood heard the name her eyes briefly changed color from neutral black to bright blue. "Lina died a long time ago, you will remember that." She said almost under her breath, but knew she was loud enough for Ari to hear. "And you will remember that you are a guest in my territory. I will give you 30 minutes." With that she left the jail leaving the two guards on either side of the cell door.

"I ate on the ship after swabbing the deck, before they let me come ashore." He informed her as they continued to walk down the walkway along the busy road. "Nope, didn't grow up on a ship of any kind. My mother and I live in a small coastal town in Wales. As I mentioned, mother is a tavern wench which is how I came to be. Draven's father had a wench in every port. Wouldn't be surprised to learn there are more siblings out there somewhere. How about you, where are you from? I can tell it must be some place exotic, from your beauty."

He glanced at it then put it back in his pocket. He poured Tori a?chardonnay. "Really, both of you. There is nothing to tell. She is simply a business partner of Tori and I." He gave her a look that said, shut up now, sis.

When her father asked her brother about Katya, she gave him a suspicious look ¡° yeah, me too. Why don¡¯t you tell us all about her.¡± She said looking at Colin a mischievous teasing look in her eyes.

I¡¯m always fascinated to learn how people grew up and how they lived. Did you go up on the ship? Where did you go up in a town? Before Colin could respond, Tori suddenly headed towards the hallway. He spotted their father at that moment and was glad for the sudden intrusion into their home. He made his way to Vincent and held out his hand in greeting, "hello, father."

Vincent held Tori close and shook Colin's hand, the two sharing a friendly smile. "I have come to meet this new prince that everyone is talking about. Mother had to remain at home to take care of some things." He walked back into the kitchen with his children. "Tell me how are things here and son, I am curious to know more about this Katya that Tori is speaking about."

Katya started a text conversation. "What did you think of the new Prince?" She sent it with a smile.

He noticed the hand Akira was extending to him, then took it.? "I'm... Gen.? And yes, I'm new here.? I'm kinda new everywhere, actually."

The androgyne looked around uncertainly as the students in the hall all seemed to be heading somewhere with purpose.? Not the same somewhere apparently, judging by the way they were going in different directions.? But still somewhere.? He looked back to Akira.? "Where is everyone going?? I... I don't really know where I'm supposed to be."? He realized that he was still holding on to the boy's hand.? It felt nice and warm and reassuring, but he forced himself to let it go.? "Is there anyone I can ask?? Or can I just go with you?? Maybe?"
(Akira) Akira gave Gen a smile as they released their hands from each other. Something about the lad made Akira tingle. "We are all heading to our next classes. Who brought you in to the Academy? Usually new students are taken to the office for in processing. Maybe we should start there, come along." He offered to help Gen out. "Have you had breakfast this morning?"

"Yeah," Roddy said, accepting the offered bottle with a nod.? "I think that was her name."? He followed the other boy's example and found a spot on the ground near the same logs.? "I take it she runs the place?? Seems nice enough.? I wasn't sure what to expect." He glanced around at the surrounding school grounds.? "I was half-expecting bars and guards and stun-sticks. But this place is more like some high school or college.? One for the upper class, even."? He looked back to Donny.? "And everyone here's a... mutant?" He said the word carefully, remembering his correction from Misty about using the word "mutie".? "What's your schtick, then?"
(Donny) "Misty, in charge, Gawd no. She is more the welcome wagon. Mia and Del are the ones in charge so to speak. They actually built the place and wanted it to be a safe haven for mutants. Not everyone is a mutant...some of the teachers aren't. Yes, we have teachers because we are to get an education as well as learn to hone our abilities." He paused as he took a long drink of his water. "Mine, strength. I am able to lift just about anything and I can track through vibrations in the ground. What about you?"

There were a few that noticed Gen, but they just gave him a wave and kept walking. "Hi there, you must be new since you are just standing there?" A petite Asian male with long flowing jet black hair and green eyes said as he stopped to greet Gen, "I'm Akira." He said holding out his hand in welcome hand shake.

Eli heard the gun shot and shook her head. Foolish. But the maniacal bad guys always thought they had unlimited power and control over their people to the point where they could kill them in front of others and everything would still be right with the world. But that wasn¡¯t her business.?
Ari was quiet at the display, but the command¡the command bristles his feathers. ¡°You do not command me Lina,¡± he said ¡°let us not forget that I am here as Emissary to a very power Prince. One who respected you enough not to take your territory while you went to ground. And one I suggest you do not want to make war with. I want to speak to my sister. You owe us both that much after all, considering what you did.¡±

Victoria watched her brother closely.?The beauty of being more werewolf than vampire was that she could smell and pick up on subtle changes in one's biology. And increase heart rate. The beginnings of perspiration. The change in tonal inflection. Even the slighted most minute detail she could detect in ways that vampires (like her brother and father and mother, who tended to be more self-centered) missed. It was one of the reasons why Colin let her handle the grimier, if you will, side of the business. Once because she had a perchance for violence and two because she had impeccable instincts which made it quite hard for people to lie to deceive them.
And in this case, her brother was revealing information he was trying to hide. "You are fucking her." Tori said. "And before you scold me on using a word I know you find crass tell me I'm wrong. Because I can smell that you either have or want to. So don't lie to me because you know that I'll..."
Tori sniffed the air then. Someone was in their home. And she knew who. She smiled. She got off the kitchen stool and quickly moved to the hall. "Papa," she said when she saw the man standing there. Throwing herself into his arms. "What are you doing here? Where is mother?"

Gen blinked when there was no response and he realized he was talking to himself.? "Hmmm.? Guess I'll have to go find someone," he muttered to himself as he rose from the bed.? Once he was out in the hall, he started wandering, hoping to find someone - anyone - in this strange place.? "Hello?? Is there anyone here?? I... I heard this was a place where... where people like me could go.? Is there someone I could talk to?? Hello?"
