American Girl is a doll company that specializes in historical dolls that reflect a certain era. They are coming out with a historical 1980s doll soon. But here's the relevant part. American Girl is using this new doll as a way of fundraising for Girls Who Code, a national organization that encourages girls to go into computers and technology.
