Hello from Huddersfield and the Colne Valley

 

Hello and thanks for setting up a new group, I've been in the Yorks and Westriding group for many years and enjoyed receiving?the messages throughout that time.

I'm Steve Whitwam from Huddersfield have been researching my family history for over 40 years and have amassed?a database of over 190,000 people connected to my tree in one way or another.

I offer free help and advice to anyone tracing their?ancestors from the Colne Valley, Golcar, LOngwood, Scammonden, Linthwaite, Slaithwaite, LIngards and Marsden and also the wider area of Huddersfield including?the parishes of Huddersfield, Almondbury, Kirkheaton and Kirkburton.
