FARRER
Hi Listers,
I am trying to verify the birth /baptism of the following children who were born to Henry FARRER and Sussanah FARRER (neeJOBSON) They were married in Bradford Church in 1757. The children were. William Benjamin b.1761 Christiana John Joseph. I have verified the death of both Benjamin and John and marriages of both John and Christiana. Benjamin never married. Thanks, Maureen in Oz. |

Hi Maureen
Ancestry have the parish registers, which include baptisms, for Bradford, St Peter (Bradford Cathedral) from 1596 & Bradford, Wibsey Chapel from 1674. There was no civil registration of births prior to July 1837.

Did the family leave Yorkshire? Ancestry has the baptism of "Christian D. of Henry & Susan Farrer, the Fleet" at St Bride's Fleet Street on 7 November 1766. She was born 6 October the same year. It is in Ancestry's collection "London, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812" Carole Mason On 20/09/2024 08:26, Maureen Farrer via groups.io wrote:

Maureen No, Leeds and Bradford, although not far apart, are two separate cities. Sue On Sat, 21 Sep 2024, 16:03 Maureen Farrer via , <maureenfarrer71=[email protected]> wrote:

Hi Listers,
I am trying to track down Benjamin FARRER b.1803 to John FARRER and Hannah in Bradford. I wonder if anyone has parish records as cant find him anywhere in the usual onsite websites. His father died in 1825 and left a will and mentioned his children but not Benjamin, so maybe he might have died by then. Thanks, Maureen in Oz. |
Hi Listers,
I am trying to find the death of Benjamin FARRER who was baptised 1803 in Bradford Church his parents were John and Hannah FARRER. Benjamin’s father John wrote a will in 1824 (died 1825) and mentions all his children except Benjamin so I assume he died between 1803 - 1824 but cant find anything. I have found the other childrens birth in Quakers Registration in Brighouse. Thanks, Maureen |
