Hello Peter,

Where are the GODDARD family from, please? My grandfather was John Norman Goddard and he was born in Bradford in 1901. The family later moved to Batley and my mother was born in Leeds. Any help?

This is a real off the wall challenge for me because I know almost nothing about them! I met them a couple of times 60 odd years ago. They used to holiday with my grandparents. I believe they came from Sheffield. I’m just starting out on the challenge!

There has been a bit of activity on the Facebook Walkley History page re the Guite family. They were from? that area I believe?
