Locked New Access Protocol for the Prescott WTP

The Prescott City Public Works?Dept has issued new procedures for birders wanting access to the Recharge Ponds (WTP) on Melville Rd near the airport.? See attached.? If this smells just the slightest bit bureaucratic, well, it is.? The good news is that your passcard will allow you access dawn-dusk, 7 days?a week through that pedestrian?gate in the fence just to the left of the main/electronic gate.? ?

I understand that you must call to make an appointment to sign the waiver and get your passcard.? The # is in the attached.? Apparently, you need to go to the Public Wooks?area at 1505 Sundog Ranch Rd. for your appointment.? This may change; I have not tried it yet.?

Good luck and good birding -?

Thanks, Sue, for making this happen.Certainly good for those who want to go through the process. Like you said, though, very wonky and not good for Verdy Valley folks.
