Locked Mew Gull

This morning at about 10:45am I saw what I believe is a Mew Gull sitting in the middle of Willow Lake.? I had parked at South Shore and was scoping the lake from the water's edge.? I got fairly good views through my scope, but was only able to get blurry photos due to the large distance (see attached samples). I was able to use nearby coots and buffleheads to see it was comparable to their size.? The first thing that caught my attention was the pronounced white crescent that separated?the gray back from the black tail. The bill was yellow with a small marking (not black) that I couldn't fully make out. The black tail had small white markings.? When I looked down for a moment at about 11:05am, the gull was gone when I looked back up.? I believe there is a very good chance it is still there.
