Locked Lesser Black Backed Gull

 

12/7/24? ? 9am South shore of Willow Lake
One lesser black backed gull observed on south side of lake with California and Ring-billed gulls.? Red gape, yellow legs, darker back, pale iris.? Don't know if it's the same as reported previously.

It was still there along with 6 other gulls at 1:05 pm.? South shore --> straight down trail, turn left (west) and take the small trail through the field of burrs.? If the gulls are all sleeping together, it can be hard to pick out the LBGU

Diane and I saw the same combination of gulls just a little earlier.
