Locked possible KY warbler Watson Woods

I heard a bird late this morning (but never saw it) that I think may have been a Kentucky warbler.? I wasn't confident of the id. in the field, so I am not submitting this to eBird.? But I pass this info along for you to do with as you wish.? I was not far from the stairs that go down into Watson Woods from the Sun dog parking lot.? Previous sightings of KY warblers in Watson Woods have been in mid- to late May.

Locked Varied Thrush at Page Springs Bubbling Ponds

Sorry for the delay in posting this, ?I just figured out how to do so.
There has been a male Varied Thrush observed at Bubbling Ponds on Dec 8, 10, and 11th in the same location?
34.7626100, -111.8928431
So far this bird hasn’t been seen before 1pm.
If you want to give it a try I’d recommend hitting the stakeout spot between 1-4:00. Be prepared to wait, dress warm, bring snack. Almost no cellphone reception here. Watch hackberry tree at these coordinates (34.7626100, -111.8928431) especially.
If you’re interested in the shortest walking distance park in dirt lot across the street from Up The Creek Bistro on N. Page Springs Rd. Enter Bubbling Ponds property and follow trail signs south. Listen and look for flock of WEBL & AMRO to arrive because it seems to correspond with the thrush arrival. ?
If you don’t use GPS: the stakeout spot is on Blackhawk Trail, about 50 yards west of the intersection with Willow Point Trail. ? Heather Hofling?

Hi, All:

For landmarks re: Harris's Sparrow, you'll walk past a few ponds, there was a very conspicuous porcupine in a tall cottonwood on the left (may still be there), and then ~100 yards beyond that, you'll see a few short (3-foot) logs on the right of the trail and what appeared to be a short (3-foot), decomposing section of a retaining wall log on the left. The sparrow was foraging on the left by that log and even perched momentarily on the log. The sound of it scratching among the dried leaves was clearly audible. Good luck!? ?...? ?Mark

Mark & Micah Riegner and I found a very tame Harris's Sparrow along the old track leading east from?the quarry along Willow Creek. It hopped within three feet of us. I entered?it in eBird here:?? More photos there.

Here are some more details:?34.60254 -112.44415. Foraging all by itself. Completely fearless. Did double-foot scratch, getting seeds almost every time.
