Repowering old brass - can motors?

I have a few older, 60s to 80s, brass locos that I would like to repower and install DCC.

Can anyone here recommend a good source of can motors?

Thanks

Jim

Mabuchi and Minneabea four magnet,? six slot motors listed on Ebay in the $3 range are the best.? There are 18mm, 15mm,? 12mm and 10mm square sizes commonly available.? ?Measure the space you have.? ?Use Hobbytown universal joints to connect to the gearbox.?

Nigel?

Two places One? NWSL?? Two A Line?? ?Micro- Mark also sells can motors?

You should able to find motors that fit you models. Although many of the one's I bought in 1980s have can motors already. Only PFM models I have have open frame motors.??

Hi Nigel

Was looking at Mabuchi
FT-010SA-07300 (24v)
And
FT-010SA-09190 (12v).

Are these a good option?

Thanks,
Jeff
