Cary Decapod ?


 

I'm working on many projects now , I'll get Mary to show me how to download a pic of this one . I have another to compare it to ? Most notable is no rear cab wall and windows .. Former owner did a nice job putting on a modern front . Henry H

I have 2 of the penn line decapods #5749 is a stock Penn Line. The one nearest #3446 is a Cary conversion. Both with long haul tenders and detailed differently. I'll put a few pictures in . They can use some touching up after 10 years in their boxes.

Well I am outnumbered < Plus I forgot which is which, and you two Richard and Jeff are correct. The blacker 5749 is a stock conversion using a Cary boiler, and the other is a conversion using Cary brass detail parts and some sanding away for cast on details.
