Bowser tender trucks

WILLIAM MURRAY All Messages By This Member #4194 ?I recently built a NOS Bowser Vanderbilt tender. The kit did not include trucks. I cannot figure out what to use for this. The Mantua 3 axle trucks that come with their standard and vandy tender don't work. Too long. Looks like it needs 2 2axle trucks, needing electrical pickup. Any ideas ??
Jeff Pellas All Messages By This Member #4195 I'd try very short wheel base Commonwealth 6 wheel trucks. These were used by Norfolk and Western, Union Pacific and others. They appear on many tenders that you could find on the 2ndary market. I believe you can buy them new from Precision Scale.
