Broken Bachmann Drivers

WILLIAM MURRAY All Messages By This Member #4626 ? ?I know this is a common problem, and I just wonder if anybody has come up with a solution. I have a vintage Bachmann Plus 2-8-0 with drivers that have cracked nylon axles. I have tried super glue to no avail, and replacement axles are, to the best of my knowledge, unavailable. This is about the third set of axles that have cracked on me. Just what kind of crap is this? The rest of the loco seems OK. Any tips ?? Thanks?
