Which hidden QY100 feature would you like me to uncover next? #poll-notice

Long story short, . I am able to develop specialized .Q1P files which users can load onto their QY100s overcoming the devices hard-coded limitations.

There are many things I can focus on making available for the community. I'll get to it all eventually but what would you like to see first?

Looks like most people are interested in hidden patterns and chord structures, so I'll put more focus on releasing this content as things progress. The patterns should be easy... the chords aren't hard either but will require me to rig up something to 'listen' and interpret the proper naming of the chord structures.?

Stay tuned.

There is a legend about the blocked 64 user bank (MSB 63). The developer of QY70 from the European division of Yamaha said that it was unlocked on the prototypes, but in the final version the Japanese blocked it. Maybe there are traces left in the firmware?

64 user bank is available in related devices of those years DB50XG, SW60XG and MU10. It was possible to load presets from QS300 into it and edit them if desired. When editing, direct access to samples, three forms of LFO, filter EG, PITCH EG? and AMP EG is opened (ADDRDD). The possibilities of creating a new sound from scratch go far beyond the standard set of XG.
