Chord Track not reflecting chord progression in Song - QY100

Kind of a weird one -
The chord track (Cd) does not seem to be controlling the chord progression in a song.
There are only a few chords showing in the track, and yet the song indicates and follows many different changes.

Neither is the chord template set to any of the system templates (its set to 'usr')
Apart from something wrong with the data / loading of the song, trying to think if there is any other place that could be defining what's happening with the chord progression...

Interestingly, if I delete the Cd track it clears the progression. So there's definitely some linking going on between the Cd track and the progression.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks!

Just wondering - Are the chord changes visually appearing in the chord area of the song screen (under the ‘Usr’ box)? ?

If the chords are showing up but it doesn’t *sound*?like the right chord changes, then you might want to look at the phrase table of the accompaniment pattern. ?There are several fields in the phrase table that will affect how the chord changes are processed.

Of course, it is important to note that chord progression ONLY affects the (accompaniment) pattern tracks, not the song tracks. ?If you want the song tracks to follow the chord progression, you need to use the jobs menu to copy sections of the song into an empty (accompaniment) pattern. ?

Cheers!

Yes, the chord changes are appearing visually and they sound like what ive been working with for a while. Just not reflected in the chord track (which admittedly i can't remember if I used to originally implement).

And yes, only affecting the accompaniment pattern. I haven't thought to look at the phrase table in the accompaniment pattern (not sure i knew that it existed). Though when I go in pattern mode, playing it alone does not replicate the chord changes.?

Will check out the phrase table and report back.

Thanks for the tip!

Never solved this and have to think it's a data corruption problem. I created a new song, called the same styles into it, and re-specified the chord changes. And it worked... All is well, though still a mystery, but so be it!

is it possible that on the one song you’re copying to track 10??

Since that track is implicitly drums it might not apply any chord changes.
