Yamaha V50 Gain and Offset trimmer pots KS circuit board

Hi,

If I open my V50 I see two little trimmer pots on the KS Circuit board labeled "Gain" and "Offset". I think something can be finetuned with these (velocity? aftertouch?) that might be useful for me. Has anyone ever touched these? What do they do exactly when turned clockwise or counter-clockwise?

Reacting to my own question. I guess it works similar to this:

Hi, Martin,

this is for setting the Aftertouch range and offset. Same board is on DX7 and some Korg instruments using the same FS keyboard. I recommend to assign AT to Pitch (up or down) and tune maximal press to some octave (I forgot if it was two or three octaves…). Try to experiment with both pots setting, you can't damage anything.

Hi, Martin,

don't you have Service manual for V50? I can send it to you…
