Backup sounds TX802

Hello,

I have a TX802 with one or two performances that I like that consists voices. Is there a way to back up the entire TX802 to my computer? I have MidiQuest Pro if that helps.

Yes, it’s possible. Utility/trns (button 1 under the display)

Transmit:
- voices 1-32
- voices 33-64
- performances 1-64
- system setup
- micro tuning 1-2

There’s also possibility to send just actually selected Performance - send Performance Edit Buffer. But because Performance doesn’t include Voice data, only pointers to voice numbers in memory, it’s necessary to save also voices 1-32 and 33-64 to be sure that no information was omitted.

I don’t know MQ Pro. You can use any sequencer for recording SysEx from the instrument, librarian, synth editor or SysEx utility.
