I am using sound diver and am getting nowhere with it. I am trying
to set up my DX7 to receive sysex patches. My problem is I can't
seem to figure out how to set it up to receive messages. I have no
problem with my other synths. The manuel doesn't really say anything
about which sequence of buttons to push to set it up to receive.

Do I have to initialize the voice first?
Does "Midi Ch Info:" need to be on or off?

Help!!!!!! I have many sysex voices but no way to transfer them to my
synth.

are you setting the 'memory protect internal' to off? It won't respond to anything, if it's on, i believe.

Well, I found out what it was. I had'midi sys. info" turned off. It
helps if one occassionally looks at the HELP menu. Thanks for the
input anyway.
