TX802 - Performance Notes Guide
Does anyone know if there is a performance notes guide for the TX802 similar to the one Yamaha produced for the TX816 (see sample attached)?

I would be inclined to leave well enough alone.? Given the age of the synth (~40 years), I would be amazed if it *didn't* have a small amount of rust somewhere.? And what I see

The keybed is rusted in places and I want to repaint it but the black plastic on the keybed doesn't seem to be removable, how do they mount it on? Do you have any experience with this? Does your dx7

Your ROM card seems to be damaged or the ROM cardreader in your DX7 is
defect.
I had the latter w/ a KORG M1R(ex) and resoldering contacts of the
cardreader unit inside the machine solved the

This is master data cartridge rom #1, Yes I have learned from the manual that this cartridge cannot be formatted.
My main problem which I didn't bring up before is that the dx7 can't read this

I see now that it is Mk1, so it is not RAM4. What exactly is written on the other side of the box and on upper part?

Which cartridge is it? This doesn’t look like RAM4, it is ROM, so of course it can’t be formatted.
And how could you replace battery? There’s no battery in ROM cartridge as you can see. Or do

In my schematics and service manual:
F1 - European model T 0.5 A/250 V, USA, Canadian, Japanese 0.5 A (without type, but probably F = Fast)
F2 - 2 A (without type, probably F)
F3, F4 - 0.75 A

The brand of the fuse does not matter. Any fuse with the same values and measures will do it.
And btw: the DX7 does not use a 5A fuse. The service manual says:
