My FT-847 that is used on a weekly basis now has no receive yet meter is displaying full scale on any band and any mode except for FM.

Looking for a repair tech.

Adjusting rf gain makes no difference.

I would like to fix it myself, if not, I would like to send it to get fixed in the states.

Ok I can hepl6you here, when I get home next week, I will guide you through the repair.

Check the circuits and find the AGC line, it will close to the IF output, follow it back to the RF amp.

There maybe a negative rail generator, if so check this is working.
