FT-847 on 8M?

K6EU All Messages By This Member #721 Has anyone tried using an 847 on the new experimental 8M band?? I've been monitoring 40.680 (FT8) for several?days without?success.? Given the time of year, this is no surprise?but, I wonder, how sensitive?the radio?is at 40Mhz. Has anyone tried transmitting on 40 Mhz?? Does the wideband mod enable the radio to xmit on 8M?
