FT-847 Free Memory Manager?
I know this may have been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer...Is there a free memory manager app?
Something that would allow a user to pre-program the memories then upload to the radio? I am familiar with the RT Systems software, but would rather spend the cash on better antennas. What about an app to save the menu contents? Does such a thing exist? Micky K1XH |

Thank you Paul, that is exactly what I was looking for.
I had used it in the past but was under the impression that it was a paid app. I understand that now it is freeware, and users can make a donation if they wish. With Bob in declining health, I hope everyone who uses this software can make a donation and possibly help him out a bit. Micky K1XH |
开云体育Micky?apologies for getting your name wrong on the first over!!
Glad the info will be of good use, please let me know how you get on with the software and programming.
Recently just before Christmas I managed to get an FT-847 and I’m hoping to use it for satellites mainly and perhaps 6 mtrs.
Has your 847 got the 4mtr mod?

Hi Paul.
No worries on my name, many people also choose to spell it with an 'e', but I don't. I don't look anything like that famous Mouse... I also have just received my FT-847, my best friend had one that his widow agreed to sell to me after he passed away in July. She had sold it to someone else before I got down there with the money. Anyway, I finally found one, and am currently putting it thru it's paces to see if everything is working OK. I am able to program memories using the FTBasicMMO software just fine now, thanks again for the tip. You will need the software if you choose to program the memories for SAT use, (not REALLY necessary, but it helps a lot!) makes crossband programming a lot easier. I don't have the AZ/EL rotor and antennas necessary yet for satellite use, that is probably the last thing I will work towards this year. I am not sure about the 4M mod, how would I check to see if it is enabled? Is there a setting in the extended menus for that or does it require pulling the covers off? Micky K1XH |
