VX-5 Stuck on 144.000 Receive

Ken Karki All Messages By This Member #17 My VX-5 has suddenly gotten stuck on 144.000 MR channel 1. The squelch stays open even if I set it to 15. Turning the dial knob doesn't do anything. I can push the (MR(SKP)SC) key and it will change to MT and i can turn the dial knob to change the frequency. I can push the (VFO(DW)SC) to change to VFO mode and everything seems to work OK. But as soon as I go back to the (MR(SKP)SC) key to returns to 144.000 as mentioned. I tried resetting the microprocessor but that didn't change anything. I also tried resetting the set mode but that didn't do anything either. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks, WN7CSI, N. Idaho
