I have my dad's vx7r ( now sk ) that sounds off frequency... its 144 deviation is set to 110. Iv tried turning it down to 90 but it seems that after a power back on the value is still on 110. V/M button seems to be functioning fine ...

Whenever you make a change you have to save it, usually by clicking the transmit button. ?I have recently been retraining myself on my old VX7 and it took a while to relearn this. ?And sometimes following the directions just did not work, but if I kept repeating the instructions it eventually would save. ?I do t know why. ?Just keep trying.
