Poor AUDIO from VX-7R

Gordon All Messages By This Member #35 It has been several years since I used my VX-7R, and when I turned it on the AUDIO was very "thin" (no bass component) compared to my VX-8R and VX-2R handhelds. Is this a feature of the VX-7R, or is it a fault which is repairable ? Thanks? Gordon VE3JSJ
Roger VE7LB All Messages By This Member #36 Hi Gordon, If it works OK on wide FM (88 to 108 Mhz) it is likely the filter sold as eBay item?171828786666. The Kenwood TS-2000 has a similar problem with the original filters failing. 73 Roger VE7LB
