Is the radio connected to a dummy load or suitable HF antenna? Power it on, chose a ham band and post some photos of the front panel so we can see the frequency and positions of all the knobs

Paul. There was a mod doing the rounds which involved adding an extra fan on the back plane. The reason was that there are two heat producing modules, the PA unit and the power supply side by side. It

Hi Jones, This 11 m modification is not a change in EPROM. It 's hardware modification to apply the GEN VFO on this 11m band. I described this on a document to get the GEN VFO as a general coverage
