What am I doing wrong

 

Hi all,

So I was trying update and make changes to my frequency list in RT systems and I'm getting the following error (does anyone have any ideas):
Communication error:? The information in the radio does not match that of the file.? Click OK for more information about this error.? (When I click OK nothing happens).? Click Cancel to cancel and try again.

Stupid question:? is there a way to just clear the radio and start over?

Remember, you need to read from the radio before you can write to it.? You don't need to write the same file you read, but you do need to read first or you'll get an error.? I don't recall if the error you got is that one.

That was it, plus I forgot to press the FW, I guess I need to slow down and read the directions better.

Did you read from the radio, then make changes, then send back to the radio?
 

No, I did the read, then I sent a separate file (had to add a site for a trip I'm going to OH), plus had to make some changes to a couple repeaters.

I had the same thing happen today.? Make sure the RT cable is in firm in the radio, wiggle it a bit too. Resend send to radio again,
It worked for me.
