Screen protector?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýMaybe You can buy one for a smartphone and trim the edges with a sharp razor once it¡¯s in place.?On Jan 21, 2020, at 3:14 PM, Bill Hanrahan <wjhanrahan@...> wrote:

Obsolete ones for discontinued phones will be very
inexpensive. Most of these are larger than the FT-60 screen.
I would suggest cutting to size first. Also round the corners so it is less likely to peel off. Gary N1ZCE At 03:21 PM 1/21/2020, you wrote: Maybe You can buy one for a smartphone and trim the edges with a sharp razor once it?€?s in place. --------------------------------------------------------

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI did this about 6 months ago.? Used an Armor Suit protective film that I had a spare one of.? Available on Amazon.? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N4GQR2N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I cut it about 1/8" oversized on all sides and then after applying and letting it adhere for a few hours I gently trimmed it with as very sharp exacto blade. Worked very well but not sure how much it accomplishes.? I've used these for years on cell phone screens and they're a great product. 73, Gary K9GS -------- Original message -------- From: "Gary D. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello? From what I am reading I am thinking that the screen broke due to something that a phone screen protector would not add much protection. I may be wrong and if I am sorry but I think what you may benefit from is a pouch like this one: I have two one for my FT-60R, the other is for my FT2D-R. The two radios fit nicely in this pouch. Best of luck! 73 WassimWN6WJN |

I have a similar pouch on my NavCom vest. Mine works best when I remove the clip from the back of the FT-60r.?
