Looking for some advice about batteries
Hello All,
When it comes to these big car batteries, or the ones for motorcycles or these batteries that provide backup power to these security systems. You know what I’m talking about, not the FNB-83. So any of you have used any of these batteries to power the FT-60R radio? Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! 73 Wassim WN6WJN |

I have only used the factory lithium ion battery and the yaesu AA battery-pack holder. Bill KD0UQW On Thu, Oct 17, 2019, 2:56 PM WN6WJN <wn6wjn@...> wrote: Hello All, |
开云体育Yaesu sells a 12V cable that plugs into the FT60 on the side and has a car 12V lighter plug on the other. The newer FT-60 will run off of the cable but will not charge the battery. Yaesu removed a diode to meet some Calif. energy regulation.?These guys have a nice little cover for the smaller 12V battery and also a Power Pole to lighter plug adapter.? It also charges USB devices.? Stan W On Oct 17, 2019, at 3:14 PM, Bill Malona KD?UQW <billmalona@...> wrote:
