I can't get my FT-60 to Scan
I am having problems getting my FT-60 to scan. I know that scanning has worked on it before, and, don't know if I have set some deeply hidden parameter of something - but - now I'm having problems.? Here is a run? down.
1. I loaded a bunch of repeaters into the FT-60 using RT Systems' FT-60 Programmer.? I got that to work with no problem? They are in the main memory bank.?? 2. Everything appears to be working fine, and, they scan as long as I hold down the MHz up or MHz down buttons, but, as soon as I let release the buttons the scanning stops. 3. I have played with the RESUME setting and tried Busy and Time. 4. I have checked and the Skip setting is turned off on all of the frequencies. Scanning works fine as long as I hold down the buttons, but, as soon as I release them scanning stops.? Anybody got any suggestions.? I'm out of ideas. As I said, scanning has always worked in the past - so -unless I have developed a circuitry problem (which seems unlikely) - it must be a parameter setting somewhere that I'm missing HELP!! That did it.? I think I finally understand base memory, memory banks, skip mode and scan mode.??
