A new volume/power switch is $8.45 from Yaesu parts dept if you want to replace it. It¡¯s pretty easy. The only difficult part is getting the castle nit off the volume pot and the rotary encoder. There is a tool it¡¯s called a ¡°X key radio tool¡± you need to remove the nuts. Link is below for an Amazon listing that sells them. If it doesn't work right away, file the little nubs a little thinner until they fit.? ? Yaesu part number for the volume/ power switch below:
